UPDATE: THIS EVENT IS NOW FREE

Following on from previous successes, we are pleased to be able to offer places on this next event being held at the KCOM stadium on the 23rd of October 2019.

This one day conference for health and social care professionals will consider topics affecting those working with people with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), and their families.

Full refreshments and lunch is provided. Our aim is to gather a cross section of interested professionals from across Hull and East Riding to look at the range of services that exist to help us all to deliver our work.

This event supports continued personal development and aims to share best practice, increasing all our awareness of what support is available, and where gaps exist, a commitment to work to resolve and close those gaps. We anticipate that by the end of the event, attendees will have gained new insight, have been able to share what service you provide, and refresh and expand on your knowledge of what service are available from others.

We seek to ensure that together we provide the right option at the right place at the right time, and at the right cost.

Key note speakers at the event:

  • Nicola Hughes: Chair, Headway Darlington & District, Consultant & Coach
  • Jacquie Owen: RGN Client Support Consultant
  • Thompsons Solicitors
  • Rachel Hoggarth: NHS
  • Dr. Claire Mills: Headway Campaigns and services
  • Lucy Fallon, Service Development Manager, Ariya Neuro Care

Ten partner stands will also be at the event for networking. The day brings together personal testimony, highly respected speakers, and interactive table-top input.

A key part of the event will be a special edition of the Headway Humber news sheet which will contain outputs from the day, and share follow up action.

After further discussion we are pleased to now advise that this event is free. Over half the spaces have now been allocated, so please do not leave it too long to register.

Thank you for your time, if you wish to attend the event please register @ Eventbrite and we hope to be able to see you and your staff on the 23rd of October.
