Howden Cycling Fundraiser

On 20 September 2020 Lesley, along with her daughter Alison and 7 year old grandson Austin, are completing a cycling circuit in Howden. Their aim is to complete a 13 mile route BUT if they can manage that, then they aim to add an extra 7 mile loop to make 20 miles each.
The Howden Rotary have kindly offered to add £10 to each individuals total if they can each manage to raise £40 in sponsorship.
All money raised will be sent to Headway Hull & East Riding.
Lesley is doing the cycle ride in memory of Brian Saunders.
Brian died in 1998 after sustaining a brain injury. The family have huge respect for Headway’s achievements, not only supporting people with brain injury but also their families and carers as well as providing so much valuable information and services to health professionals.
Headway Hull + East Riding is just one of many branches run by volunteers. Money raised will enable monthly Newsletters to be sent out, maintain the website and dedicated mobile phone until face-to-face meetings can re-commence.
