Sunflower Lanyard for Hidden Disabilities Introduced On Railway Service

17 Apr , 2019 News

Following the introduction of the scheme at multiple UK airports, London North Eastern Railway (LNER) has become the latest in a series of transport providers to introduce sunflower lanyards for those who have a hidden disability or condition. The bright green sunflower print lanyard is fast becoming the symbol of hidden disabilities in the UK.

Passengers who choose to wear a sunflower lanyard are able to discreetly let staff know that they may have a condition, which is not readily apparent, without having to verbally inform staff.

The scheme is perfect for individuals who wish to travel independently with the assurance that if they require any additional support or assistance, staff will be happy to help.
